From the recording Beyond The Veil
Written after the passing of Gia Levé’s father, “Beyond the Veil” explores the idea that love and connection continue beyond this life. Co-written in Málaga, Spain with Mo Pleasure and Simon Ashworth, the song is told from the perspective of the one who has crossed over — offering comfort, perspective, and peace to those left behind.
Blending soulful jazz, gospel warmth, cinematic storytelling, and uplifting harmonies, the final production with Tim Howarth creates a reflective yet hopeful listening experience inspired by the timeless spirit of artists like Van Morrison.
